give me the relationship between the shylock and launcelot

Launcelot is Shylock's servant first and foremost.  He is also a fool and a bit naive.  He looks up to Shylock because of his master's power and vengeful nature, but never has any strong conneciton to him beyond that.  For the stagecraft, the main role of Launcelot is to serve as a contrast to Shylock and show how miserable he is.
