The marrow thieves by charline dimaline

I'm not sure our page numbers match. In my copy (pg 47) French is reflecting on the madness of the world: "poisoning your own drinking water, changing the air so much the earth shook and melted and crumbled, harvesting a race for medicine."

I can see all of these things happen in my own environment (except the harvesting race thing!) which is scary. I can identify with what French is talking about.
