What is the author's style in The Man in the High Castle by Philip K. Dick?

There is a strong foreign element to this book so many of the words are derived from different languages. Dick, however, contextualizes many of his words to give the reader some understanding of them. The reader really has to sift through biases of different characters to find out what might be really driving certain parts of the narrative.
