The Princess is described as an emotional, volatile woman. Her outbursts lead her husband (the Prince) to seek escape and cause her to self-medicate with herbal tranquillizers. The Princess is a weak woman, who is portrayed as tactless...... meaning, she should think before acting or speaking.
