It's a she by the way. She was Sentator Mendoza's wife and the mother of Emilia and Maria. She lefted Maria when she was five because she wanted to fight against the evil of El Patron's opium empire. She also wrote a book called " A History of Opium" which Matt read and he realized that she was Maria's mother. She lived in a Convent of Santa Clara and she defended the Lost Boys from the Keepers. She send Matt to the Opium to investigate and to end all the terrible things that El Patron did. She helped Matt to become the new ruler of Opium and to open the border with Atzlan.
