Dynamic change

Starr undergoes a change within herself. She begins to look beyond her own small world..... where she sees the big picture. Khalil's death, as horrifying and devastating as it was, not only gives Starr a purpose, but enables her to have the strength to follow through on her beliefs. She becomes stronger and focused, and she courageously begins to speak against injustice.... regardless of the cost to herself.
