What is the author's tone in The Greatest Miracle in the World by Og Mandino?

This novel was written with a subjective tone. Og Mandino was especially close to Simon Potter, the man who inspired the book, and because of this, his tone could not be objective regarding the subject of the book, which is his relationship with Simon Potter and the God memorandum that Simon gave to him.
