Feldwebel (Sergeant) Laus is the feldwebel (non-commissioned officer) of the group that Sajer serves in during his time in the 19th Rollbahn. Laus' exact station is not clarified, but he does give Sajer direct orders. Laus is described as a conscientious man, who strives to keep his men in line and performing their duty. The men like him, though they sometimes complain about his relentless dedication. Laus' ultimate fate is never disclosed.
