Miep was a loyal employee of Mr. Frank and a caring woman. She stood against Nazi oppression, and as a result, her passport was stamped "invalid". When the Nazis invaded Denmark, Miep's husband was a member of the Dutch underground resistance organization. This organization assisted Jews by hiding them from the Nazi regime. Miep followed her heart and assisted the Franks during their time in hiding. She brought them food, news, and most of all.... encouragement.
