in The Diary of a Young Girl Anne does not like the restrictions that the Jews begin to endure. They are not allowed to be outside of their homes after a certain hour, they can't go to certain stores like they used to. They even tell them that they can't go to their old schools or own bicycles. She also goes on to say that the Jews adapt to each restriction with strength and courage, finding alternative ways to enjoy their lives even with the restrictions.
