The Diary of Samuel Pepys is a diary from a man living during the time of the Restoration movement in London, England (1660-1669). Pepys gives firsthand accounts of the major events during this time and his involvement in bringing Charles II back to the throne. He talks about the Great Plague and the Great Fire and his involvement.
