What is the narrator point of view in the novel, The Butterfly Garden?

The Butterfly Garden is told from a dual point of view. Sections of the story, those in present tense in which Victor and Eddison question Inara, are told by a third-person narrator. This narrator tells the thoughts and emotions of all the characters but there is more of an emphasis on Victor, the investigator who forms a stronger bond with Inara because he has daughters that are about her age. These third-person parts of the story are used as bridges to connect the parts of the story narrated in the first-person by Inara, the main character of the novel. She is one of the girls who was kidnapped by the Gardener and was held in the Butterfly Garden for two years.
