In Chapter Fourteen, Bach uses foreshadowing to indicate that there may be something much more with Leslie. At first, Leslie seems resistant to spending the day with Richard after their all night chat fest. Bach realizes that he could not see himself landing because he was not meant to land in Florida, or anywhere else, that day.
