Who is Tommy Muller from The Book Thief?

Tommy Muller is one of Rudy's friends, as well a member of the Hitler Youth Group. Tommy suffered hearing loss as a child, which leads him to get into trouble in the youth group because he doesn't always hear the orders they're given.
