Who is "Centinel" from The Anti-Federalist Papers; and, the Constitutional Convention Debates and what is their importance?

"Centinel" was the name used by Samuel Bryan, who argued that checks and balances would be an obstacle in detecting corruption and tyranny in politicians. Eighteen of his articles were printed in Philadelphia newspapers between October 5th, 1787 and April 9th, 1788.
