Describe symbolism in The Acharnians [and] the Clouds [and] Lysistrata by Aristophanes

In Ancient Greek spiritual symbolism the phallus was a positive symbol.... a symbol of sexual power and freedom. In Lysistrata, however, the phallus serves as a symbol of frustration, or perhaps more accurately, of the frailty of that power.
