Who is Paul Fisher from Tangerine and what is their importance?

Paul is the younger of two sons. When he is twelve, his family moves from their home in Houston to Tangerine County, Florida. There, Paul is looking forward to joining the soccer team at the Lake Windsor Middle School. He is accepted to the team but then denied the opportunity to play because he is legally blind.
