why did not Bruno felt guilty but Guy felt guilty?

Bruno was mentally deranged, Guy was fully aware and did not wish to participate. Bruno's behavior, however, drives Guy to the end of his rope, and he capitulates...... committing an act that leaves him racked with guilt.
