Who is Harold Hill from Season of the Machete and what is their importance?

Harold "Harry the Hack" Hill is married to Carol Hill who is destined to become a victim of the machete murders at the hands of Carrie Rose. The purpose Carol's death is nothing more than to send a message to Harold, and it works. Harold himself is deeply involved with the intrigue of the plot and ends up dead at the hands of Peter Macdonald. Hill does capture Damian Rose briefly, then apparently shoots and kills Rose. Hill has reportedly been told of Damian's escape plan by his wife, Carrie.
