There are several literary elements that reveal women's rights in Pride and Prejudice. The theme of pride and that of prejudice which illustrate the social conventions that women were held to and forced to comply with, even if they did not love their selected mate. Motifs, and characterization also serve to illustrate this, especially the character of Lizzie. She is one of the most forward characters and the one that seems to always challenge the status quo.
