Jim Robertson was raised a Lutheran but during time he spent working Mesa, Arizona, he was introduced to the Mormon church. One summer, Jim was working in Mesa, Jim's wife and family came to join him. Over the course of that summer, the family decided to join the Mormon church.

Over time, Jim and Judy come to doubt that decision and the teachings of the church. When the church got wind of their growing doubts, the couple was warned not to voice them outloud.... not even to each other. After a lot of soul seaching and Bible reading, Jim set out to expose the church and its failure to adhere to the Gospels. His mission cost him his job.
