Who is Elizabeth from On the Genealogy of Morals and what is their importance?

Elizabeth is Nietzsche's sister. She assists her brother when needed and serves as chaperone during his three-week vacation with Lou Salome in the early 1880s. Elizabeth is also her brother's caregiver in the last years of his life.
