What is the author's style in No Matter How Loud I Shout: A Year in the Life of Juvenile Court by Edward Humes?

Edward Humes's perspective is clearly complicated. There are three sides to it, more or less. The first perspective is clear and unambiguous. He thinks that the juvenile justice system is a miserable failure.
