Jacob (Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children) thinks that his gransfather's death is more sinister because of the tales that his grandfather Abe used to tell him when he was younger. In these tales there were stories of monsters and creatures. Jacob always thought that they were fairy tales, but after his Grandfather is horrifically murdered in the woods, and after Jacob sees some creature staring at him, he determines to find out the truth.
