Who is Ranuccio Vecchia from Mirror Mirror and what is their importance?

Ranuccio Vecchia, Primavera Vecchia's grandson, is a hunter by trade. After an encounter with a unicorn, Ranuccio finds himself consumed with shame and self-reproach. When he releases Bianca de Nevada in the woods outside of Montefiore, he leaves to do penance at a monastery. In the end, he revives Bianca, who is believed to be dead, with a kiss.
