Who is Wade from Michael Vey: The Prisoner of Cell 25 and what is their importance?

Wade is one of Jack's closest friends. At the start of the novel, he is one of the boys who bullies Ostin and Michael. We later learn that he was raised by abusive parents, and that his grandmother took over guardianship in order to remove him from that environment. When Hatch captures Wade, he believes that Michael will kill him.
