About Lila

Lila is unique in that her childhood was troubled, uncertain, and filled her with an immense sense of shame. As a result, she finds it difficult to adjust to her life as a newlywed, and she is also unable to find it within herself to truly trust her husband. Lila's past complicates her presence, her shame makes her second guess her marriage, and becomes a source of stress when she learns that she is to have a child. Over time, she finds peace in motherhood.
