According to the monks of Glastonbury Abbey in 1191, Arthur and Guinevere were buried in Glastonbury. Many people claimed to have seen their grave, and in 1278, their remains (if they were their remains) were moved into the abbey itself. The tomb was unfortunately destroyed during the Protestant Reformation.
