Johnny Tremain is definitely a story that contains multiple antagonists. First, we have the British government, which controls the colonies from across the ocean, alienating itself from the colonists by levying new taxes and implementing laws the colonists view as unfair. Other antagonists include`Dove, who purposely sets the stage for Johnny's injury; Mr. Lyte, who accuses Johnny of theft; as well as, Johnny..... who is in constant conflict with himself.
