Character of Cilla in Johnny Tremain by Esther Forbes?

Cilla is one of the Lapham's daughters. She is smart, pretty, and initially, we come to understand that she and Johnny will eventually marry. This possibilty, however, ends when Johnny burns his hand and is unable to continue as Mr. Lapham's apprentice in the silver shop.
