Who is Diana and Mary Rivers from Jane Eyre?

Diana and Mary are Jane's cousins. The sisters are both governesses, well read, intelligent, and kind. When Jane arrives at Moor house, these women take excellent care of her and are directly responsible for helping to restore Jane's health.
