Leandro is Maria Teresa's husband. The couple is introduced to each other by Minerva and Manolo. Leandro is referred to by the revolutionaries as Palomino. He is an engineer. Leandro survives the revolution and moves to the capital where he starts and business. He goes onto remarry and have another family.
