Hera is the daughter of Cronus and Rhea and Zeus' sister..... she is also his wife. Hera is goddess of marriage and childbirth, she is a jealous woman and constantly plots against both Zeus and his mistresses. Hera supports the Achaeans because their main cities are under her protection. She also harbors anger against the Trojans because Paris' decided to give the golden apple marked "for the fairest" to Aphrodite.
