In Chapter 21, Silenus is surprised at the turn his poem is taking, with the Titans, led by Saturn and Hyperion, forming a pact of peace with the Olympians, led by Zeus, in order to defend themselves against a third usurping force. This foreshadows the alliance created between the Ousters and the Hegemony in order to meet the threat of the TechnoCore.
