Hans Luther is Martin's father. He owns several foundries and is know for his piety and strict religious adherence. Hans raises his son according to his own religious beliefs, though, he disapproves of his son entering a monastery. Hans later gets over his disappointment with Martin's choice and is happy to be in attendance at his son's fist official mass.
