There are a variety of different language styles in the novel. Most of the novel is written in everyday language that is easy to understand. There are no hidden meanings in any of the language. It is a style that the reader feels comfortable with and serves as a good way to convey the action of the novel. The everyday language enhances the action of the novel, since the reader is not caught up in a stiffer, more wordy form of writing.
