Jimmy is one of Henry's classmates. Over the course of the novel, Jimmy goes out of his way to be nice to Henry and develop a friendship. Henry, however, is rude and acts superior. After an evening of gambling and drinking, Henry is especially rude.... and the two get into a fight. Before Jimmy leaves, he tells Henry that he is "ugly" inside.
