Why is Ingolstadt, Germany important to Victor in the book Frankenstein by Mary Shelley?

Ingolstadt is important because it's where Victor goes to continue his studies. If Victor hadn't gone to Ingolstadt, the monster would likely not have been created. It is at Ingolstadt that Victor begins his studies in natural philosophy.
