Dunstan narrates the story. He is an introspective observer in his own life. His tone is always one of subdued intellect and discovery. Dunstan always seems to evaluate people and situations with sober second thought. Whatever excitement and tension that Dustan experiences seems always in the reflective rather than the emotion of the moment.
