How does M.T. Anderson use imagery in Feed?

Anderson uses the imagery we receive through technology to illustrate how we, as a society, are fed images of what perfection is, just as the characters are fed images in the novel. If we dissect our idea of a perfect day, it would probably sound a lot like a television show too. Anderson's social commentary notes how we are affected by the constant technology, media and advertisements that bombard society.
