The three pageants dramatize events from the earliest Bible stories, all based on events from the Old Testament. Each, both in terms of the pageant, and the story upon which it is based, is a metaphorical exploration of ways in which human beings alienate themselves from God. The pageants are essentially warnings...... sermons, that the wrong sort of behavior can lead the unfaithful and the un-careful down the path of unrighteousness— all three, it must be noted, are the stories of individuals who pay the (Hellish) consequences of an ungodly life.
