Who is Jillian Gail Hennessey from Click Here and what is their importance?

Erin says that Jillian Gail Hennessey is her best friend. She also describes Jillian as being very pretty and friendly. These characteristics make Erin wonder why Jillian wants to be her friend when everyone likes Jillian. Erin calls Jillian Jilly for short.

Jilly is a little bit self-centered. She convinces Erin to wear things Erin doesn't really want to wear. She is also always convincing Erin to do things that Erin really doesn't want to do, such as try out for the school play.

By the end of the novel, Jilly realizes that she hasn't always been a good person, or a good friend to Erin. She learns how to give more and take less from her friendship with Erin—making it a more equal and balanced relationship.
