Narciso or little Grandfather was a mama's boy, always clinging to her for support and advice. He cowers in front of her, and when she is irrational, explains to everyone that she acts that way only because she is a mother and that is how mother's act with their boys. Narciso entered the military, though his only job was to burn dead bodies killed in the Ten Days war. He impregnates Soledad and marries her with his father's advice. He is remembered for having three ribs removed and as his wifes doormat when they get older.
