Who is Lucius Sergius Catilina from Caesar's Women?

Lucius is a Roman senator and commander in the miltary. He is caught between one political side and the other..... his only wish.... to better himself. Caesar twarts him, and Cicero hurls accusations at him. In the end, he is executed by the Senate treason.
