Marcus Licinius Crassus is a good friend of Caesar. He is an aristocrat, former military general, who now engages in commercial activities and owns a lot of property. One of the wealthiest men in Rome, Crassus frequently tries to lend money to Caesar, and he always supports Caesar in the Senate.
