Hondscio and Aeschere from Beowulf are both warriors. Hon is a Geatish warrior who is eaten by Grendel, he was a close friend to Beowulf. Aes is an old Danish warrior who is close to the king Hrothgar, he was Be-headed when Grendel's mother came to enact revenge for her sons death. Hrothgar mourned Aeschere's death.
