In the novel, Being with Henry, the section titled 'Dreams and Lies' refers to the dreams and goals people have for their lives. What a person wants changes and shifts over the years, as evidenced in the novel's main character. The lies are the things we tell ourselves when it comes to dreams.... are the dreams really ours? Or are we lying to ourselves about what it is that we really want?
