Who is Jezile from And They Didn't Die?

Jezile is the novel's heroine. She is young, married, and anxious to have a child. Over the course of the novel, we see Jezile assert her independence and rebel against government regulations in order to fulfill her dream. Unfortunately, her rebelliousness will only be the beginning of her trials and challenges.
