Daisy Day from Anansi Boys is a detective with the London police force. She meets Fat Charlie when Charlie and his brother are at a bar. She sleeps with him, but he is so drunk that he doesn't even remember her in the morning. She tries to take herself off of the Coates investigation because of her involvement with Charlie and his brother.
