Robert Cameron from Almost Heaven is Elizabeth's half brother and is someone that she trusts and looks up to. The fact that he does not have her best interests at heart doesn't even enter into the equation until later on in the story. He is very self serving, a gambling addict, and views Elizabeth as little more than a pawn. She does finally see him for what he is.
